The timber and plywood company believes Accoya, made by changing wood through a process of wood acetylation, has a great future in Germany.
A window made from Accoya was demonstrated at Ligna. Other applications include cladding, flooring and doors.
“We think it will take up to five years to find the right place in the market for Accoya,” said a Roggemann spokesperson.
