A high speed fibreboard production line is being supplied by Metso Panelboard to Advance Fiber Co Ltd’s Karnchanaburi mill in Thailand for an undisclosed sum.
Scheduled for start up in March 2007, the line includes a fibre-preparation system with a P62 Defibrator, single stage drying followed by double Z-Sifters, a Uniformer forming station and a pre-press.
The line will also be equipped with a 28m long continuous Metso Contipress with HighFlex inlet and complete press outfeed equipment.
The new MDF line is primarily designed to produce thin MDF, ranging from 2-8mm.
