A housing association liked the doors used in two of its new developments so much that it asked manufacturer Jeld-Wen UK Ltd to provide floors, panelling and facings to match.
The pre-finished steamed beech veneer doors from Jeld-Wen’s John Carr range were installed in a new head office and nearby nursing home for Springburn & Possilpark Housing Association near Glasgow.
The £1.9m contract was awarded to JB Bennett who specified custom designed single and double leaf doors, many of which conformed to the British Woodworking Federation‘s BWF-Certifire scheme.
