The Masterwood machine has been used to replace traditional hand-operated equipment, which had often necessitated overtime and impacted on the firm’s profitability.
Director Alan Heavisides has said that the CNC machine is proving a success across a range of products, including timber windows and staircases, and that he is considering adding extra software to allow the company to use the machine to manufacture traditional timber doors.
Mr Heavisides added that he chose Masterwood as the company provided a one-stop shop by supplying and installing the machine and providing the required software.
