Ney Ltd is to market Italian CNC specialist Marzani’s door and window manufacturing technology in the UK.
The Coventry-based company says it will be the first time Marzani’s stand-alone and in-line production solutions have been made available in Britain.
The Marzani system is capable of sizing doors and door components, recessing and drilling for hinges, routing for locks and lock plates, aperture cut-outs and other similar work.
Software backup allows for the manufacture of arched or gothic window and door styles using an eight-position, fully automatic tool changer. Variable pitch electrochucks are also available to cut jalousie-type window slots in conjunction with an inclined 3D drilling tool.
The technology is designed for everything from bespoke work and one-off projects to big batches and high volume production.
