A Manchester-based fireplace mantel producer has upgraded its routing facilities to process a range of timbers and panels.
Malacrino Mantels has invested in an AXYZ 4010 CNC router with automatic toolchanger to process hardwoods such as mahogany and oak, plus MDF and softwoods.
The machine’s processing area of 3048x1524mm is bigger than an earlier AXYZ unit bought by Malacrino in 2000.
Malacrino, established in 1989, produces mantels in contemporary and classic designs.
