Makita describes the introduction of its new jigsaws powered by 12v and 14.4v high capacity 2.6 Ah Ni-MH cells as a giant leap forward in its cordless power tool programme.
The new saws feature ergonomic design to ensure accurate, fatigue-free cutting on timber, chipboard, MDF, fibre and other particleboards, plus plastic, sheet steel and non-ferrous metal.
They use normal reciprocating and pendulum blade action, dial set variable speed and include tilting sole plates and perspex dust guards. As an added safety feature, they are also fitted with a ‘lock off’ switch to prevent accidental starting.
Supplied as a kit, the tools include jigsaw, combi drill, torch and multi-voltage fast charger .
