US demand for LVL has exceeded the production capacity of a continuous Dieffenbacher LVL line at Pacific Woodtech.
To ease the problem, Dieffenbacher Zaisenhausen is to convert the two-opening foil layering station to three openings. It will also be responsible for integrating the new equipment into the system control.
Modernisation will reduce the cycle time from 2.5 seconds to 1.7 seconds in the foil layering area of the line. The pressing speed will be increased accordingly and result in a 30% increase of the overall line capacity.
