Montague L Meyer Distribution Ltd has given long service awards to 11 members of staff who have clocked up 407 years of service between them.

All the award recipients have served in excess of 30 years, with five of them serving for more than 40 years. Adam Ballantyne, of the Grangemouth depot, has recorded the longest service with 49 years.

Chief executive Glenn McCardle said: “The introduction of the Long Service Awards demonstrates, as we have known for years, that our staff are the greatest asset we possess, delivering the quality of customer service that enabled us to win two trophies in the prestigious TTJ Awards 2005.”
