The Liverpool TTBS Christmas lunch raised £3,500, taking the amount raised in the last few weeks of the year to £11,500.

Speaking to the lunch, Liverpool president Paul Snape emphasised the important contribution made by all sponsors and thanked them for their continued support.

Ronnie Craig will take over the presidency this year, which is Liverpool’s centenary year.

  • Belinda Davies, daughter of London TTBS president Keith Davies, has offered to do a sponsored bungee jump from the highest commercial jump in the world to raise funds for the TTBS. She will make the jump from the Bloukrans bridge in South Africa in early March. Jumping from a height of 709ft, she will be in freefall for seven seconds.

To sponsor Belinda, contact Malcolm Job at the TTBS, tel: 0121 705 5686. The largest sponsor of the event will be invited to a dinner, hosted by Keith Davies, to meet Belinda.

Belinda has previously raised money for the TTBS by running the London marathon. Last year she was in the winning team of the National Half Marathon.
