Lawcris Panel Products has invested more than £500,000 updating its lorry fleet to meet a growing number of customer orders.
The eight new lorries will help distribute large stocks of MDF, plywood, laminate, veneer and melamine panels to the Leeds-based company’s UK-wide customer base.
Lawcris has a dedicated fleet of 18 lorries, which make an average of 275 deliveries every day throughout the country.
The company has also installed bisTrack software so orders can be tracked from despatch to delivery.
Marketing manager Hal Eccles said: “It was vital that we invested in new lorries to meet the rapidly growing number of customer orders. Extra delivery fleets means we can ensure our speed of service doesn’t drop.”
