Construction companies, builders and developers will hear about the importance of using timber fire retardants in buildings in Kuwait at a one-day seminar.
Christophe Journot, regional director of the Formica Corporation, will give advice and information on how furniture and timber panelling performs in fire conditions at the Fire Safety in Buildings event.
Staged by fire door manufacturer Halspan Ltd, Mr Journot will also look at the importance of fire retardant treatments where timber is used.
Other speakers at the one-day event, taking place on March 9 in Kuwait City, will include Dr Kevin Towler, from Chiltern International Fire Ltd; Khaled Al-Fozan from the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate; and John Martin, managing director of Halspan.
