Kronospan is restructuring its sales operation to create stronger regional divisions.
The move is spearheaded by Kronospan’s newly appointed sales director, Tony Meehan, who said: ‘Four regional sales managers will be multi-disciplined with client bases ranging from distribution, manufacturing, merchant, retail and end users in all sectors. Kevin Lapthorn in the north-west, Jim Lee in the north-east, Scott Brady in the south-west and Adrian Carter in the south-east.’
Each region will be supported with dedicated internal and external sales representatives – Caroline Richards, Rosalyn Griffiths and David Megger (external) in the north-west; Karen Maynard, Taryn Jones and Mark Hillyer (external) in the north-east; Nick Tanner, Elvira Hebson and Mike Dineen (external) in the south-west; and Sarah Allsworth, Stewart Kelly, Adam Foulkes-Jones (external) and Ken Clark (external) in the south-east.
Product specialists have also been appointed to offer additional support in key product areas. Julian Shaw is responsible for MF MDF and MDF while Chris Tyler will provide support for MFC and chipboard customers.
The retail operation will be headed up by Alex Gambroudes and supported internally by Lynne Faulks and Mandy Woodfine-Jones.
Overseeing the team structure will be sales operations manager Bruce McKay and Lisa Williams who will manage the internal sales team.
Mr Meehan said the restructuring demonstrated Kronospan’s commitment to continually providing a first-rate service.
‘Customers will be contacted to confirm the changes and to inform them of the exciting new developments, including new product launches, design and marketing initiatives,’ he said.
