Kronospan has donated a number of computers and printers to local charity Hope House.

The charity, which is based in North Wales, provides respite care for terminally ill children and their relatives through hospice and community care.

The computers and printers will be installed across the nine charity shops to help the volunteers with stock control and valuation.

Hope House’s business support manager David Plume said: “We are delighted to receive such a generous donation from Kronospan. The computers will significantly improve our day-to-day operations.”

The charity needs to raise £3m to its two hospices in Oswestry and Conwy.

Kronospan financial director Phil Inch said: “As one of the biggest employers in the area, we feel we are at its heart. We are pleased to help Hope House who also play a key role in the community.”
