The managing director of UK fastener and fixings company Laserfix has helped raise more than £40,000 for a children’s charity by completing a trek in China’s famous three gorges.
Brendon Kenny went on a 50-mile trek along the Yangtze River along a path often just a few feet wide and overhanging heights of up to 1,200m. The gorges will be flooded in June as part of a plan to create the world’s largest dam.
Mr Kenny raised the money for Wirral charity Claire House, which cares for young people with life-threatening or limiting conditions.
