Kalmar Industries is to sell mobile equipment cabin manufacturer Velsa Inc to Finland’s Rautaruukki Corporation for an undisclosed sum.
The sale is part of Kalmar’s strategy of concentrating on marketing, development, assembly and servicing of container and heavy materials handling equipment.
Velsa will continue to be sole supplier to Kalmar’s European factories.
