Bob Juson has left his position as director of timber products UK at Saint Gobain – a role he said had come to a natural conclusion.

Mr Juson, who ran his own company between 1987 and 1996, was asked to return to Meyer International in 1996 to help “sort out the timber side of the business.”

He said: “The role was supposed to last four to five years but it has been almost seven. When the business was acquired by St Gobain in 2000 I helped bring some unification to the European strategy on timber in France, Germany and the UK. That has come to a natural conclusion and I am taking a break before deciding what to do next.”
