Scottish haulage company Ferguson Transport (Spean Bridge) Ltd has invested in two Jonsered vehicle mounted cranes to help meet its growth objectives in the forestry sector.
The J1020 cranes are designed to carry medium to long tree lengths and have an 8m reach and lift capacity of 10.4 tonne-metres.
Ferguson Transport already operates two Jonsered J2990 cranes, which are mounted on the rear of an eight-wheeler lorry chassis, for loading and unloading ships.
Jonsered forestry cranes cost from £16,500 upwards.
