An Isle of Wight-based joinery company has speeded up the production of staircases after investing in StairCon software from Consultec UK.
Godshill Park Joinery bought the staircase design package following a recommendation by a customer and is now using it to speed up both design and the end manufacuring process via its five-axis CNC machine.
Another staircase specialist to invest in the software is Clyde Valley Stairs Ltd. Its managing director Chris Stockwell said he was impressed with StairCon’s flexibility and ease of use.
Mr Stockwell said the package saves time on the design process and also gives accurate measurements, leading to less material waste and ultimately saving money.
StairCon is a Windows-based application with the ability to export drawings to AutoCAD o2c, Eleco‘s 3D visualisation and data compression software, plus other graphical packages.
