Bespoke furniture manufacturer John Sinclair Interiors is using a Hoffman dovetail jointing system to aid flexibility in the production of one-off designs.
The Herne Bay-based company is using the Hoffman MU2 router and Morsø guillotine to make items for kitchens, home offices and occasional furniture, using a variety of wood species, including oak, sycamore, tulipwood, elm, maple and cherry.
The Hoffman system, which involves serrated dovetail keys being inserted into pre-routed slots or keyways, is helping John Sinclair to make diverse frame designs for his furniture creations.
