The first Striebig Control vertical panel saw to be sold in Ireland will be installed at Rem-Roc Kitchens & Bedrooms.
The machine will be used by the County Down-based family business to improve efficiency and carry out contract work.
Richard Clark, partner at Rem-Roc, said the Striebig’s automatic facilities will enable one worker to carry out all sawing jobs, as well as freeing up time for other specialist work.
The Control features an infinitely variable feed speed which can be adjusted to suit different materials, while TRK dust and chip extraction is fitted as standard.
Rem-Roc’s machine, purchased through Moneyrea-based TI Machinery Sales, is being supplied with an optional scoring saw designed to cut smooth edges on tough materials.
