The company was born in 2005 out of the merger of Borden Chemical, Bakelite, RPP and RSM and claims to be the world number one in forest product resins and formaldehyde production. Turnover last year was US$3.5bn.

The main thrust of the EcoBind promotion was the resin’s low-emission benefits.
