Dr Hugh Insley has been officially confirmed as chief executive officer of Forest Enterprise Scotland. He had been acting chief executive since the agency was formed in April last year and had previously been the North Scotland director of Forest Enterprise, the agency that formerly managed national forests throughout Great Britain.
As part of his remit, Dr Insley will serve on the Forestry Commission‘s National Committee for Scotland.
