The presence of timber construction companies arguably left one of the strongest visual impressions on visitors to this year’s show.
Frame UK was another company which elected to upgrade from a basic stand to full house display – and according to the Cornish company it paid dividends.
“People can touch and feel the structure and see it in true life,” a spokesperson said.
“Some people regard timber frame as a glorified timber shed but when they see this it can change their mindset.”
The show house, which uses MiTek Posi-joists for the floor structure, is due to be re-erected in just three to four hours at a construction conference in the south-west.
