Homag Ireland is one of the key suppliers of machinery to the panel and solid wood sectors in the country and the company has said that the restructure will improve links between the group’s main spares and engineering deparments and the whole of Ireland.

As part of the restructure, the 12-county province of Leinster is to come under the watch of Michael Bradley, while Andy Jones will continue in his role as sales manager in the Republic of Ireland, with Derek Reid of Electro-Tech, Homag’s main agent in Northern Ireland, increasing his sales and services north of the border.

They will be supported by Ken Kyne, formerly of Homag Australia, who has been appointed as senior service technician and Robbie Gerahty, a service engineer.

Gerry Harvey will also be involved in the reshuffle, acting as the main point of contact between Homag Ireland and the rest of the company’s UK operations and taking responsibility for recording all service customer calls, scheduling technicians and liasing with Mr Jones and Mr Bradley on customer machine installations.
