Bütfering sanding machines are now available in Britain and Ireland through Homag UK.
The development follows Homag’s recent acquisition of the majority holding (51%) of the German company, which takes effect on January 1.
Paul Mosley, who has been responsible for Bütfering’s UK sales for the past nine years, said: ‘The addition of a wide belt sander into the Homag portfolio of machines is a natural progression and one that suits the UK market situation well. We have a superb range of machines on offer.’
Mr Mosley will remain with Bütfering as main technical contact between Homag UK and the factory in Beckum.
The sanders, both general and specialist machines, will be available in all regions backed up by Homag engineers, while spare parts and technical support material will be held at Homag’s new purpose-built headquarters due to open in January.
