Hodgson Sealants Ltd (HSL) manufactures a glazing strip for timber windows and moisture protection for timber frames among other products for the construction industry.
HSL, which is based in Beverley, East Yorkshire, has acquired Scapa’s Hampshire manufacturing site along with a portfolio of products and brand names, and research and development facilities.
“This acquisition gives HSL a great opportunity to build on existing success as UK market leaders in butyl sealant as well as improving our international profile,” said managing director Charles Hodgson.
