Peter Hindle has been appointed chief executive of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution UK and Ireland. He takes over from Pierre-Andre de Chalander who as been appointed president of Saint-Gobain Buidling Distribution and will be based in Paris.
Mr Hindle will continue as managing director and assume responsibility for the Tile Group, International Decorative Surfaces, International Timber, Calders and Grandidge, Platform and PDM and the managing directors of these companies will report to him.
