Over the past 12 months, the company has installed a multi-table Wemhomer vinyl door press, which can produce around 160 doors an hour, and an Ergon router. The installations are expected to double production over the next six months.

Last year the company bought a new Schelling high production beam saw and an automatic stacking unit. The final part of the expansion programme has now finished with the completion of an additional 16,000ft2 factory unit for the production of kitchen and bedroom doors.

“More importantly, the new machinery will enable us to become more productive by working more effectively. You have to continually invest in the very best machinery to produce the best quality products,” he added.
