High-Tech Machinery Ltd has secured the agency for Masterwood CNC machining centres in Northern Ireland.
The Dublin-based company, which has represented Masterwood in the Irish Republic for almost 15 years, was appointed following the retirement of Masterwood (UK) Ltd‘s former Northern Ireland sales executive Peter Walker.
High-Tech Machinery’s sales director Gerry O’Carroll said the company planned to build on Mr Walker’s success and would continue to use locally-based Masterwood service engineers, as well as its own three full-time sales engineers.
High-Tech Machinery already represents several other woodworking machinery manufacturers on both sides of the border, including sanding specialist Viet.
Masterwood CNC panel and joinery machining centres will be on the High-Tech Machinery stand at the Woodworking Ireland exhibition at Punchestown Event Centre, County Kildare, on September 8-10.
