Jaguar’s best selling car, the X-type, is keeping the company’s veneer manufacturing centre busy trying to meet demand.
Two high-speed Rye QM CNC routers have been installed for one small but essential job – cutting the aperture in a fascia panel for the fitting of the front passenger airbag warning light. Jaguar says a slower spindle would have caused the veneer to have slightly feathered edges around the hole.
