The feeding system capabilities on a Leadermac LMC 523S Smartmac were a big factor in HG Timber Ltd’s decision to buy a machine for its new production facility.
Leadermac said the driven infeed bed rollers on the machine were particularly suitable when feeding high moisture content timber.
HG Timber’s relocation to a purpose-built site is part of a £4m investment programme to create a production facility providing better service and higher quality products. The company manufactures pallets, pallet collars and warehouse decking.
The LMC 523S Smartmac is a four-sided moulder designed for fast-cutting speeds and high accuracy.
