A range of manual handling equipment designed to reduce the risk of work-related injuries is being promoted to companies in the timber sector by Granada Manual Handling Ltd.
The Rochdale-based company, which has already secured a number of customers in the kitchen cabinet manufacturing business, says the Health and Safety Executive is taking an increasingly hard line on industries where manual handling is necessary.
Its range of equipment includes the Vacupower lift, which is designed to lift non-porous products weighing up to 120kg.
