Granwax Products Ltd faced a tough challenge in Dubai when asked to provide the finish for a new sports hall.
High external temperatures clashed with an air-conditioned interior, so Granwax advised that the finish should be applied very early in the morning when an acceptable room temperature of 20 degrees Celsius could be achieved.
Contractor Raymond Sport Ltd specified Aquathane Super Gloss, a water-based polyurethane finish, and the 180m2 floor surface was dry and ready for use by midday.
