A 300m2 pitch pine floor in a Grade II listed church has been completely overhauled during conversion of the building into a Healthy Living Centre.
Because of the poor condition of the floor, most of it had to be lifted, cleaned and re-laid using blocks from other parts of the church.
Flooring contractor Forest Timber Floors machine-sanded the floor and filled the cracks and holes with WoodWise filler before applying four coats of Granwax Masterfinish Matt seal, a fast drying water-based polyurethane finish.
