A Leicestershire-based cabinet door manufacturer and furniture fittings supplier is completing a £3m relocation to large, single-site premises.
East Coast Fittings, which previously operated from four sites in Leicester, is currently transferring its cabinet-door making business to the new 60,000ft2 purpose-built facility at Rearsby. All other operations, including administration, warehousing and logisitics have already moved.
The company decided to move to the leased site, which has options for future expansion, after experiencing much faster growth than expected during the past five years. It has created a new logo and branding to coincide with the move.
Further plans involve developing a training, demonstration and product display facility, while practical in-house exhibitions are also on the agenda.
East Coast Fittings’ business is split between cabinet door manufacture and supplying furniture components from a range of international manufacturers, such as Blum and Hera Lighting.
