Richard Robertson has been appointed as the FSC-UK’s first technical officer.
Mr Robertson, who is on a three-year secondment from the Forestry Commission, will work with FSC-UK and the UK Woodland Assurance Standards steering group to develop and deliver FSC certification in the UK. His first task will be working on the revision of the UK Woodland Assurance Standards and integrating them with those of the FSC. He will also provide professional advice on forestry, technical and policy issues.
