Along with a stand promoting its own products and services, Frame Wise UK constructed a seminar theatre showcasing timber frame technology and hosting a series of “Timber Talks” seminars.
These included presentations on responsible timber sourcing and certification by Alun Watkins of the PEFC and Charles Thwaites of the FSC; on innovative timber technologies emerging from Ireland, by Willie Fitzgerald of Enterprise Ireland; and on low carbon design using Welsh timber, focusing on the development of the Ty Unnos system, by Haf Roberts of Coed Cymru.
