A new OSB forming and press line from Dieffenbacher GmbHJ & Co KG is now in full operation at Langboard in Georgia, US.
The line includes an 8x25ft 12 daylight pressing line and a combination belt/Flexoplan forming system.
This allows for OSB mat formation on a belt and transfer to a Flexoplan screen prior to pressing. The system includes four forming heads and incorporates a mat scale in the forming bin.
The length of the press enables either 24 or 25ft panels to be run. The 25ft length enables two 8ft long and one 9ft long panels to be manufactured simultaneously.
