A newly formed national partnership between the public and private sector has just appointed Mardi MacGregor as its project manager. The England Forest Industries Partnership (EFIP) has been established to develop the competitiveness of England’s forest industries and their capacity to contribute to the delivery of the England Forestry Strategy.
Ms MacGregor, whose role will be to manage EFIP and to facilitate the development of an Action Plan, was educated in Australia and moves into the UK forestry sector from her previous role working on improvement strategies and waste directive policy with the Local Government Association.
The post is supported by Forestry Commission England, Forest Industries Development Council and the Country Land & Business Association.
