Forest Garden plc has appointed Sue Spurgeon as managing director.
Ms Spurgeon, who has 15 years’ experience in the home sector, joins from Armstrong World Industries where she was managing director in charge of pan-European strategic growth, sales and marketing for the company’s residential floor coverings. As well as previous marketing roles at Integra Products and Cole & Mason, she also worked at Vymura Wallpapers where she handled key accounts including M&S, BHS and Mothercare; and acted as a senior product manager for licensed ranges such as the Jeff Banks ‘Ports of Call’ brand.
Forest’s previous managing director Jonathan Halford is to remain at Forest Garden as chief operating officer for the group, working alongside chief executive Simon Ashton.
