Tom Bruce-Jones, chairman of James Jones & Sons Ltd, who was appointed CBE in this year’s New Year honours list, has been appointed Knight, First Class, of the Order of the Lion of Finland in recognition of his services to Finland.
Mr Bruce-Jones, who is honorary consul for Finland in Glasgow and West Scotland and has had close connections with the Finnish forest products industry for 40 years, was presented with the award in London by the Finnish ambassador Pertti Salolainen.
