Ney Ltd has become the UK distributor for the Italian Erregi shrink wrapping system to service the growing emphasis on protection and presentation of packaging output at shop floor level.
Clemens Ney, product manager, says most UK manufacturers pack their output inefficiently, using too much material applied by too many people.
The Compact 250 system by Erregi, designed as a flexible packaging solution, features automatic sensors to adjust the shrink wrap program for each individual item on the line to accommodate small and large batches.
It is equipped with either three or four pressure rollers, rather than the usual single roller.
