Improved availability of sized panels was timber merchant WG Burbridge’s prime aim when it decided to invest in new sawing technology to service its growing customer base.
The Ramsgate-based company decided on an Elcon 135D vertical panel saw from Daltons Wadkin as a space-efficient solution for its timber yard.
Burbridge is a longstanding customer of Daltons and first saw the Elcon 125D, the smallest machine in the Elcon range, at the W10 show at Birmingham NEC last year.
Daltons Wadkin said the Elcon provided a price-effective way of updating Burbridge’s machining capability.
