The Dyrup Group has announced that it has acquired Joinery Coatings Ld, strengthening both companies’ market share in the UK.

Livingstone-based Joinery Coatings will now have a “more expansive marketing policy”, with plans to widen its distribution in the UK and Ireland.

The company has been distributing Dyrup products for the last three years, with the Dyrup Group’s Tomas Kjellker saying that the company “had been an excellent partner in the UK”.

“We have the right products and the right people to become a market leader,” he said.

“We are very pleased to become a part of the Dyrup Group,” said David Hutchison, manager of Joinery Coatings.

“We will continue to maintain our consistent high quality and excellent service – combined with honest advice and the introduction of new relevant products to our markets.”

The Danish-owned Dyrup Group’s two main brands are GORI and BONDEX.
