Douglas Johnston has been appointed managing director of DLH Timber (UK) Ltd, the UK arm of the Danish owned DLH Group.
Mr Johnston joined the DLH Group at the time of the acquisition of PW Hardwoods in 2002 and later appointed commercial director of the UK company.
Having spent all his business life in the hardwood trade, Mr Johnston has gained extensive knowledge and wide experience of the primary areas of supply and in recent years has spent considerable time in North America and eastern Europe.
