A collection and auctions at the North West Timber Trade Association‘s annual dinner raised a grand total of £3,825 for the Liverpool Timber Trades Benevolent Society, which marks its centenary this year.

Donations at the event in Liverpool came to £1,075.

For the auctions, NWTTA president Tony Miles donated a signed print of Muhammed Ali and an England rugby shirt framed complete with a letter from the former owner, World Cup star Will Greenwood. The former was bought by Tony James of Parker Kislingbury for £750, while the latter went to Chris Powell of CP Timber for £2,000.
