David Laver, chairman of Arnold Laver & Co Ltd, has joined the TRADA board. Mr Laver has almost 40 years’ experience in the timber industry and throughout his career he has been involved in all aspects of his family business.
TRADA chief executive Andrew Abbott Mr Laver’s knowledge and enthusiasm for promoting good practice through training would be of great benefit to TRADA and to the industry.
“TRADA will be defining its role in education and training over the coming months, working closely with higher education and training institutes and other timber organisations. David’s input will contribute greatly to this,” said Mr Abbott.
