A D45SC-2 Daewoo lift truck has been purchased by Buxton-based Craft Supplies Ltd to carry exotic timber imported from all over the world.
It will handle larger logs and planks in greater volume in the company’s yard.
Craft Supplies, which has been using Daewoo trucks for seven years, said it needed a machine which could cope with tough yard conditions, including mud, broken timber, bark and sawdust.
The D45SC-2, supplied by Rotherham-based Ability Handling, has oil-cooled disc brakes as standard, a 4,350mm side-shift mast and all-weather protection.
Meanwhile, Euro Daewoo UK Ltd has extended its coverage of the UK forklift truck market by appointing Hedley Material Handling Ltd to its dealership network. Glasgow-based Hedley will cover central Scotland, including Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Fife.
