Engineered flooring system provider Trus Joist has given its technical approval to Cullen Building Products’ restraint angle (RA) hanger range.
The one width size RA accommodates all single TJIs, minimising inventory on site and reducing the risk of incorrect product being installed. If a higher load capacity is required, a double-sided RA (RAD) can support multiple TJI joists. Although width dependent, it can be manufactured to suit all possible joist widths.
Cullen managing director Doug Cullen said his company believes passionately in developing innovative solutions to help its customers minimise health and safety risks and improve speed of installation. He added: “With the RA we’ve succeeded in both aims.”
The RA range is now available through Trus Joist stockists in the UK and Ireland and is supported by a product datasheet, installation guide and construction video.
The RA hanger range has also received technical approval from the NHBC.
